“I’ve been in to many to count.” They still seemed nervous as it was strange for a merc to be talking to him than at him. Patches shuffled his feet on the table and scratched the back of his head. “Thank you for taking me away from that scrabble…they always do that when they get their hands on me.”
The Sniper nodded and smiled. “No worries,” she said, standing. “You hungry?”
“ A little…”
He hated admitting it but he has no business lying to someone who could whisk him way to do what ever snipers need a healing pocket medic do. Patches sat down gentle and hugged his knees as he stared up at her.
