Luca wasn’t really sure how, why or what had happened, all he knew now was that he was very small, well, smaller than he already was anyway. Only about three inches tall, in the walls of a place that rumbled and quaked with footsteps of… what Luca guessed were giants.
He wandered around this place, trying not to be seen, or crushed for that matter, scooting up against walls and scurrying around like some kind of insect…. until he’d finally found a room he thought was unoccupied and he succumbed to the pressure and began to break down in tears.
He knew a day like this would come… and now it had.
Luca felt comforted by that… slightly. He was more glad he wasn’t going to be a bother to the doctor. Then they made their way to the metal box… well, it seemed he was right, taking the size of the box into account. Then, he was invited inside.
Luca took that as his initiative and climbed up into the box, taking a look around.
It was actually quite quaint for a little area that basically served as his only living space. There was a small work space near the opening that had a few gizmos on a matchbox that was paired with a sewing spool along with countless of ripped pieces of paper that was stacked nicely. The room also had a industrial sponge near the back with a cloth working as a blanket. Though it did also come with a mini ice box- which was a normal sized one to them that was around the corner. Even if it seemed a tad bare it was home sweet home to Patches.
In speaking of which the doctor followed the child inside and laid his bag down next to him as his pet flew from his shoulder and onto the ice box. Seeming it was waiting for something.
“I wasn’t expecting visitors anytime soon but make yourself comfortable!” Patches passed the child and made it to the front of the ice box, turning back to Luca.
“Anything I can get you?”
