She didn’t notice him for quite a while as she stood in the rain. It was easy to miss him, given that he was as small as he was. But, when she adjusted her jacket to keep out the cold and her purse fell from her pocket, narrowly missing the miniature Medic, she looked down, and noticed him with a little exclamation of surprise.
Staring for a moment as she shock wore off, she came to realise how close her purse had come to hitting the little man, and, compelled by politeness regardless of how odd he appeared to her, she bobbed down to apologise.
“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t…well, I didn’t see you there, honey! Are y’aright?”

The puddle erupted beside him suddenly and covered him again with freezing water- making him squeal and jump from the large object. Patches looked up to see those orbs staring down at him. Oh no. He shook with fear as he backed up a bit. He didn’t want to go out in the freezing rain again but at the same time a big person spotted them and was now leaning down. Patches took a few steps back wards- shriving from the cold and fear.
“S-s-sorry for b-being under your umbrella. I-I-I should get going.”
