He was massive. 

Patches didn’t know how to completely analyse the situation and the only thing he could  think of was squirming frantically- trying to crawl out of his grasp but it was near impossible for a tiny thing like the doctor to pull out of this one. His mind was racing as fast as his heart, panicking to the extreme. How did the entity find him? More importantly why was he so huge? 

The little doctor then remembered what Host was saying all that time ago about all that connection stuff and his face ran cold. He started doing the only thing he could do at the moment and started to scream. 

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! PL-PLEASE LET ME GO!!”
