Today was the day that Patches was supposed to come over for dinner, too bad things were about to get a lot more complicated. Host was in the kitchen preparing when he started to feel very strange. There was a distinct sense of vertigo like he was riding an elevator. When it stopped, he knew something was wrong.
He reached for the table he’d been standing in front of previously but found nothing there and began to panic. He started to move around and bumped into a some sort of wooden post which was not a thing he had in his home previously. “Th-the Host feels the strange post, which was actually-” He stopped short, realization dawning on him. Oh no.
He took Patches’ hand, pushing himself up as he did to help him pull him up onto the crate. “The Host questions how much more climbing will have to be done to get to Patches’ home.” He was getting a workout from this trip, that was for sure.
“We are about done with the climbing!” Patches replied as he stepped onto the window sill- thankfully it was just like a tall stair. He walked over to the still and slowly pulled it up with a few grunts. “Sorry if it’s a lot of work…when you’re small everything seems to be a mountain and you just sort of..get used to it.” He managed to mumble out as he had made a crack big enough to crawl through. Though he did listen into the room. There was quite a bit of noise but it was far away.
“Alright no one is in here…this is the storage room.” He was holding it up for Host.
