He initially flinched when Patches reached towards him, instinctively wanting to close off and withdraw with the uncomfortable subject having been raised. But Patches hadn’t meant anything by it, it was an innocent question, and he allowed him to make contact, moving a hand to one of the medic’s fingers.
His index finger jerked a little when they flinched. Patches didn’t mean to scare him and he was trying to be as comforting as possible. Being on the bigger side of the coin was so weird and if he’s this intimidating….he wished he was pocket sized again.
Despite that Patches took his pinkie and ring finger to curl around them a bit and started to do this mixture of petting and patting their back lightly.
He seemed to visibly stiffen at the question. He’d told Patches about a lot of things–previous regrets, his reality bending abilities–but the subject of his eyes was something he wasn’t comfortable talking about. It was a low point for him and he didn’t feel like he would understand.
“The Host would prefer not to talk about it…” He turned away slightly, gripping at his sleeve.
Wrong question to ask Patches.
They immediately felt pity when Host seemed to be extremely distressed from what Patches said. The doctor frowned in guilt as he shifted his arms. Actually started to slowly reach out a hand slowly to comfort the Host.
“It’s okay, I am sorry for asking that it must be too personal..”
// love you dearly & appreciate your support but… you guys with personals / fandom blogs have really gotta learn etiquette when it comes to interacting with, following, & reblogging things from rp blogs. it’s not the same as a personal or a fandom blog. different things are ok to reblog with rp blogs and many things aren’t ok to reblog from rp blogs unless they specifically say otherwise.
if an rp blog posts a promo, even if it looks like an edit, a lot of them don’t want you reblogging it off them and many will even say in the post “personals do not reblog”, etc.
additionally threads ( writing between one rper and another ), starters ( writing posted by an individual rper ), headcanons ( unless otherwise stated ), and in character posts are almost always NOT to be reblogged. MOST rp blogs are fine with you liking the posts. almost all rp blogs are fine with you messaging them about things re: a headcanon you like, a thread you enjoy.
if you see a post from a roleplay blog and you’re not sure if it’s ok for you to reblog it: ask them. if they say no? don’t reblog it. if they say yes? reblog to your heart’s content.

reblogging these things spread things that are meant to be private within the rp community ( hell, sometimes even just private for that specific blog and person ), a lot of the times they’re things rpers don’t want spread outside the community. that can cause understandable anxiety in addition to just generally messing with the flow of rp and making it difficult to keep track of threads if it gets notes as the result of personals / fandom blogs reblogging it.
just be courteous to rp blogs. we know a lot of you just don’t know.

It’s a music video with rapid flashing colours/lights. I have very minor epilepsy, just focal seizures, and I maybe watched ten seconds before literally nothing was real around me and I think I’m going to throw up and have a heart attack.

crosa rosa have a history of spam sending videos to people with their submit open, and when confronted about it and the content of their videos before (misogynistic themes, transphobia, no epilepsy warnings), they were complete assholes about it.

Alright this isn’t really the theme of this blog but I think this is important. I did some digging around and yes they are completely remorseless and seem to get their “claim to fame” by just offending people.Well they try to like an edgy 12 year old.
No matter what if you like the music or not you really should not be giving them any sort of traffic as this scheme is shady enough with using bots to spam people to actually being asshats for no other reason than to get views.
He hastily wiped the drop of blood away when Patches pointed it out. “The Host is fine. This is… normal.” Or normal for him anyway. He was aware it wasn’t normal for other people. But it’d been happening ever since he lost his eyes. It was the reason his bandages were always red. Maybe they needed changing if a drop had managed to escape though.
His blindness was always in the back of Patches’s mind. The blood has always seemed freshly wounded even when lots of time as gone past but yet the Host didn’t seem like he was in pain. Of Course he didn’t know how long in general the host was like this but by medical law he should have fallen over in cardiac shock a long time ago.
But then again he remembered he was a 50ft giant at the moment so realistic science was out the window by now. However his curiosity couldn’t be quenched. Patches folded his arms on the table- seemingly hesitant to ask his question.
“If…it’s too much to ask you don’t need to answer but…what happened to your eyes?”
He almost seemed surprised by Patches’ words, the sentiment bringing a smile to his face. He always seemed to more frequently make people uncomfortable than comfortable, the strange man with the bleeding eyes. Or before that, he’d been an actual cause of torment, driving a man to a mental institution. So it was nice to hear he’d done something good, especially with his abilities.
“The Host- Thank you.” Was that a tear of blood running down his cheek?
His head was resting on his arms when they gave the sincere compliment- but he perked up in concern when blood was sliding down the smaller man’s face despite the smile. Patches couldn’t tell if it was a tear or if he accidently broke a vessel.
“Herregud- uh. Are you okay? You’ve got a little…”
Patches leaned in just a bit and tapped his cheek bone and slid his finger down.
