golden-gaze:

Honestly? Yes, that is usually exactly what he thought. Karma had decided to bite him today though. All these people had their eyes on them and it had him trapped. He couldn’t change form. He’d have a whole lot more problems if the general public knew what he was.

But he really didn’t like being on the other side of this dynamic. He hated not being the one with the power. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t still going to try to worm his way out of this with words.

He made puppy eyes at Patches, one of many practiced facial expressions that attempted to show remorse he didn’t actually feel. “You’re right. I shouldn’t have done what I did. I got carried away.” And he’d totally do it all again.

At first the innocent look worked a little as his lips pursed. Then a memory of them throwing their small fragile body into the icy cold water of Derian’s sink made him shake his head. Growling a bit in anger as he actually stood up far from the ground.

“Well YOU shouldn’t have done it in the first place!” He yelled at them. Making a pointing gesture at the now tiny man. News vans were slowly pulling up in front of the crowd.

golden-gaze:

He felt fingers snag the back of his coat and then his feet left the ground and he flailed a bit, still trying to run for a second after he’d been grabbed. After it became apparent he wasn’t getting anywhere though he went slack.

The doctor actually grinned at the sight of him effortlessly picking him up. Dangling him in front of his round glasses. Is this what power felt like? Patches put a hand on one of his knees as crowds were farther away put still circled to witness what was going on.

“You think you can just get away from your mistakes??”

golden-gaze:

His eyes were drawn to the fist hitting the ground. It was certainly big enough to break bones if it were brought down on him. He then looked back up at the very clearly angry Patches.

For a minute he just stood there, not moving, not saying anything. Then all of a sudden he just turned around and booked it.

“Nuh uh hold on there buddy.”

The doctor didn’t really need to get up too much as he just leaned his body forward as he reached out his hand- trying to do the thing where the humans grabbed him by his lab coat, which he also hated. They attempted to do the same to Derian.

golden-gaze:

This was just sad… and also laughable, him crying while scarfing down chicken. Derian just chuckled softly after he stopped. “Was that so hard?” he asked as he went back to eating the food himself.

Patches wanted out of there so badly- Being humiliated and being threatened with a knife was probably the least he was going to do to him. He shivered as he felt like he fully knew there was no way out. His eyes started darting anywhere that wasn’t Derian- somewhat daydreaming of someone he at least spoke with knew he was missing but… deep down felt like the world forgot him already.

Patches scooted away from Derian- trying not to be close to them.

politescoutrussell:

“Yeah. Ehehe, it’s yours, and ehehe, you know, you worked to get it, ehehe,” a kind smile was on his face, “And as I said, that way you can have some for yourself. It is nice to offer through, ehehe…”

Even though it had been offered to him, he still felt kind of bad to just to take the entire loot that the Medic had gotten for himself. He at least thought it was a bit fairer this way.

“Ehehe, sure thing,” he said, as he placed it down onto the ground, his palm open, “Like this?”

He nodded quickly and unbuttoned the bag and proceeded to dump half of the crumbs into the scout’s palm. It really didn’t seem like much but it was all he could carry. Once doing that he pulled back with a smile.

“Here ya go!”

blue-haired-tales:

“When you’re ready and in your own time, of course. You seem to have a little set up of your own here and I’m not going to disturb that. Don’t you worry..”

Next came cleaning her glasses, which she was also very meticulous with..

“It’s okay. It’s a bit dull on occasion unless of course it’s Friday night..”

“Oh yes… Friday nights.”

Trust him, he knew out hetetic it could really be. Patches leaned out her head to watch what she was doing. It was really weird for him to just be sitting down and having a conversation with someone.

“Uh- would you like some help?”

golden-gaze:

Patches bending over him was quite a sight. He forced a fake smile onto his face, raising a hand and halfheartedly waving as he stared straight up at him. He could feel his heart beating faster with the adrenaline of this threatening situation.

“H-hey…! It’s been a little while, hasn’t it? How’ve you been?” As if acting nice was going to make him forget everything he did. But then again, there wasn’t really anything else he could do in this situation.

Pretending that he had done nothing wrong made him even more ticked off. Patches was down on one knee as he shook his fist- slamming it down on the ground near them. Not exactly next to them but it would cause a thump in the ground.

“Don’t act like you don’t know what you’ve did to me!!”

golden-gaze:

Speaking of deer in headlights, Derian had just spent several moments just staring at Patches, trying to figure out what in the world happened here. But then he saw the giant’s eyes land on him and he began to sweat. He was coming this way and judging by the look on his face, he knew why.

Derian had very few options at the moment, his car was surrounded by traffic and couldn’t be moved and there were far too many witnesses to change form.

So he just started backing away slowly.

“YOU.”

He yelled out in dispise. Freaking people out around him as he just got closer to them. Even when he was so angry and wanted to make him feel how he felt from his helplessness- he didn’t want to hurt them. That’d just make him as bad as Derian was.

A leg out stretched nearly behind Derian as he was giving off a horrid glare as he slowly bent down wards.

“What are you scared of!?” He growled- trying to be sarcastic but came off as spiteful.
