Hey everybody! I’m doing my first art stream! I’ll be taking requests (That are PG 13 guys) and doesn’t evolve me crying to the floor.
Hope to see ya there!
Wish granted.
I’ll be up in a few minutes!
“Ehehehe, yeah, I can only guess she was just given a lot of loving contact from a young age. Ehehe, I found her when she was a stray and she is about three now,” he said, looking thoughtful, “She really does love just about anyone. Although I’m not surprised that you thought she was gonna eat you, ehehe…”
“That’s all right,” he said, with a nod. If he got shot for being too close, then that was just what he got. But he decided to at least try. Being attacked just for being near the RED base was rare outside of battles.
“I can take you to the front,” he said then, “It’s not far from here.” He kept walking then. He picked up his pace, but not to the point of making Patches uncomfortable.
Soon after, he stopped and slowly knelt down, opening the bag up so Patches could get out.
“We’re here,” he said then, “Did you need me to open the door for you?”
Upon being delivered to the doorstep- quite literally. Mothra flew out first and spun around the scout a couple of times as the doctor followed suit. Patches crawled out of the bag and slid down the side to the ground.
He turned on his heels to face the scout with a wide grin. “Oh no no I think I can get in myself. Still I can’t thank you enough for helping me!” Patches took his backpack off and lifted it to the scout. “I… had quite a few bites while I was there and …. with you helping me and all, I think you should have this. It has the rest of the bun from the shop.”
“Ehehe, that’s good. I’m sorry if you ended up needing to rush. Those ladies are nice, but they’re very strict with themselves about standards,” he said, looking awkward, “They wouldn’t normally allow cats but Misty won them over by behaving herself and looking cute, ehehe, it’s a talent of hers,” he added.
“Ehehe, it’s all right,” he said then, smiling as he kept walking, “It makes my day a bit more interesting, ehehe. It’s not something I expected, but it was all right.”
It didn’t take him long before he was back in the vicinity of the bases.
“Did you want to go back to the RED base or does going back to the BLU base make it easier? Ehehe…”
“Oh gosh- well. Misty is a very sociable creature if I may add.” He giggled a like before feeling the sides of the bag. Thinking about something as he let the scout talk. As they drew closer to the base Patches twiddled his thumbs.
“Well, if it isn’t too much- could you set me in front of my base?..or at least some mid point?”
“Well, it’s very nice to meet you Patches! Or should I be more official, Dr Patches?” She replied with a little smile, hoping to at least ease the tension. She couldn’t even imagine just how nerve wracked he was feeling, although she imagined that she would too if she was in that position.
“That’s okay! You’re welcome to stay here whenever you like. I don’t mind at all..” At least she was trying to make him feel welcome..
He couldn’t help but to chuckle a little at the statement. Finding the joke kinda funny. “No one’s ever called me that before ha~” Maybe she wasn’t lying when she said they weren’t going to hurt him? Patches had put a hand on a whiskey bottle next to him to lean on it. “Gosh this isn’t really the normal reaction you humans have to people like me.”
I might do an art steam tomorrow.
Anybody interested?
He really didn’t know what to expect in terms of how this would feel. He flinched a bit at the unfamiliar sensation but then relaxed into it. It was surprisingly pleasant.
When Patches was done, he rolled his shoulder experimentally and he could feel the difference in it. It had never been quite the same after having a bullet through it, but now it felt just like his other shoulder. The stiffness and soreness were gone.
“The borrower was successful in fixing the Host’s shoulder. It feels as though it was never shot.”
Now that was a surprise.
He covered his chin as he looked up at him. “Re-really? Are you sure?” They did seem a bit skeptical, wondering if the host was just saying that just not to hurt his feelings. They were pretty stoic and to be honest- couldn’t read the host’s emotions too well.
Patches horrified screaming was unexpected and caused Derian to give him an odd look. Though he was more concerned with trying to get this stupid bug off of his head. He continued to swipe at it.
Right after that Patches put both of his hands over his mouth- tearing up because he didn’t want Mothra to get involved. The moth however was not giving up as it fluttered down the human’s back and was now on his side. Eyeing Patches.
Even if he was shaking his head- Mothra jumped at him and grabbed him by the shoulders. Attempting to lift him out.
Russell looked back at Patches and gave him a quick nod as he slowly held his bag up so the little medic could slide on in. He then got up and zipped it partially shit again, so not to arouse suspicion.
“She’s fine, ehehe, and we’ll be out before they get any pest foggers going, ehehe,” he said, as he stood up. He picked up the bun and put it on the counter just so it looked like he was doing as asked.
It was just in time, for the lady stepped out with the muffin and the coffee that he had asked for. He handed her the money and acted normal.
“Sorry for the trouble, dearie. We’ll hopefully have it all sorted out before you get back,” she said then, giving him a kind smile, “I hope you have a good day. Please come again.”
“I will,” Russell said, offering them a wave before he took his things and left. The bell above the door jingled and he was back in the cold air.
“Did you get what you wanted?” He asked, as he started to head back towards the base.
“Well…yeah.” He smiled- looked down at his bag of treats. It was a pretty good score to his standards. The moth flew out of Patches’s arms and laid on to the notebook. The small doctor looked around.
“Thank you so much for helping me.. really you didn’t need to go out of your way to help a little guy like me.” Patches admitted when he joined his moth friend on the notebook as he stared upwards.
