Russell realised he had spoken a little too much when he saw he medic’s face. Yeah, he really shouldn’t have said something like that. Hopefully, he hadn’t upset the guy too much.
When the RED and the moth were both safely inside his bag. He reached down and slowly zipped it so it was halfway shut. That way, the medic could still have some light and some enough air.
“Ehehe, it’s fine,” he replied with a small smile, “It certainly makes my day a bit more interesting.”
Russell walked swiftly and yet carefully, not wanting to cause injury to what he could only really call a passenger.
For Russell, it was only fifteen minutes or so before he arrived in the nearby town. The RED would hear a small bell jingling as Russell opened a door.
“We’re here,” he whispered, as he glanced down, keeping his voice low at all times, “I think they keep them over here,” he added as he stepped over to one of the shelves.
“They can’t see you right now, I’m standing in a way that you’re out of their line of sight…”
Along the ride Patches sat comfortably down on the note book and held to the side of the fabric wall as his moth sat comfortably on his lap. The ride wasn’t too bumpy surprisingly and he wondered how a scout could be so…caring?
When the bell rung in his ears he stood up. Pretty excited to get some pieces of the delicious bun. The moth was the first to fly out and sat upon the scout’ bag. Watching the area like the good bug she is. As they made it to the shelf it’s self Patches started to climb up the bag and popped his head out a bit from the flap. Just making sure he wasn’t spotted before he hopped onto the shelf- stumbling a bit but was able to keep his balance before sneaking behind the pastries to get some.
“I’ll be sure to keep it quick!” Patches whispered before vanishing.
