âPositive. I donâtâŚreally get along with our medicâŚso I get my medicine from hereâŚâ
Well. It was more like Rez just didnât trust the guy. But considering the blu medic helped in making him a cyborg, his distrust was justifiable. That and he always seemed to get scolded on the rare occasions he needed to see the medic to get his skin patched up. Since most of it was synthetic, there wasnât much med kits could do for him.
âUhâŚare you likeâŚthe docâs assistant or somethinâ?â
âO-ooah. I see….I donât really have the best of relationships with my teammates either.â
Patches kicked his foot on the ground- he didnât exactly have a plan for having small talk on this trip. Though when the sniper mentioned the other medic that was supposed to come back soon made him froze a moment. Remembering he should probably get his cotton before they came back. He looked at the daunting cotton jar- walking up to it and was trying to hop for the lid.Â
âNo not really- Agh! I am just here for- Agh! Some supplies thatâs all!â
âWhoa, hey, Iâm not here ta take the intelligence or anythinâ! Iâm just here ta get some medicine from yer other medic!â
Wow, and he thought his reaction was bad. Honestly he felt bad for scaring the poor guy so much. He backed off a couple of steps to give him some room, and to try to prove that he wasnât there to hurt him.
One eye opened.Â
âVänta, va-â
He looked up at the man who took a few steps back. Wondering why the enemy team didnât use the chance to hurt him or something. Patches looked around awkwardly as he scratched the back of his floofy hair.Glazing up at the giant with him squinting a bit.Â
âAre you sure youâre in the right clinic?â
Of all the things he had expected to pop out from behind a jar, a tiny person was not one of them. He hadnât meant to react by jumping away like he had just seen a ghost, but seeing the small medic did catch him off guard.
His first thought, once he calmed down from the shock, was that maybe the medic had done some kind of experiment on himself, but it quickly became apparent this was an entirely different person.
âUhâŚh-hey?â
Having to recollect his bearings for a moment; he groaned as he got to his knees as his vision was slightly impaired by the crack in his glasses. Though it was quick to realize he was spotted. Patches darted his mortified face of not only a merc finding him but a blu one at that. He was breathless for a moment  before he got quick and darted like a mouse.though he didnât go far as he realized the jars and the wall around him had blocked his way of escape.
â………youcanhavetheinteligencejustpleasespareme-âÂ
He blurted out in a panicked ramble.Â
Rez glanced at his watch. Good. He had plenty of time to wait. Then again, aside from the disgusting meals they serve on base for dinner, it wasnât like he was in a rush to get anywhere.
The sniper wandered over to a counterâunbeknownst to him, the same one Patches was onâand leaned against it. He learned his lesson rather quickly that the chairs in the office were not built to support the weight of a 1 ton cyborg.
Whoâs genius idea was it to build him out of steel anyway?Sighing, already getting bored of waiting despite only having been there for a minute, Rez idly began playing with the assorted jars on the counter just to keep himself doing something.
He could feel the heart beat in his ears- inhaling when the thump ringed through his heels. The giant was right there. Patches shivered as his teeth was clutched. Hoping heâd just leave or something. However that wasnât the case when the jars around him begun to move. Patches was gripping the jar behind him out of panic- but unfortunately it was jolted to the side- causing him to be somewhat dragged along and tripped on the counter top. Falling flat on his face right in front of the sniper.
đ ((TINY ADVENTURES))
Luca wasnât really sure how, why or what had happened, all he knew now was that he was very small, well, smaller than he already was anyway. Only about three inches tall, in the walls of a place that rumbled and quaked with footsteps of⌠what Luca guessed were giants.
He wandered around this place, trying not to be seen, or crushed for that matter, scooting up against walls and scurrying around like some kind of insectâŚ. until heâd finally found a room he thought was unoccupied and he succumbed to the pressure and began to break down in tears.Â
He knew a day like this would come⌠and now it had.
It hadnât occurred to Luca until now that in fact, most people, tend to sleep at night, unlike him and Alex who were night people who slept at weird hours and had trouble sleeping, or stayed up all night.Â
Luca took the small bag and looked up at Patches with his large indigo eyes.
âI-Iâd love to help!â he said, smiling for the first time in a while.
âWhat all are we getting?â he asked, tilting his head.Â
âJust a few things we are going to need.â Patches grinned as he took the needle into both of his palms. Showing luca the small needle that seemed to be as big as a machete. âNow be careful with this- Itâs really useful for climbing and getting through things. Also it can be used to defend yourself but hopefully we wonât need to.âÂ
The doctor then took it and looked at the side of the child. Sliding the needle carefully on the side of the bag so it was securely threaded in but it would be easy to pull it out. âThere we go!â
Going to the RED base was always an experience, even during a ceasefire. Normally no one really said anything to himâwho would want to mess with a cyborg that weighed nearly a tonâbut Rez was always worried someone would in fact try to start trouble with him. Regardless, it was worth going to see the Red medic for his medicine if it meant not having to deal with his own team.
He knocked on the door to the medicâs office. No answer. Weird. He decided to enter the office anyway, figuring that at the very least he could wait for the medic to get back from whatever he was doing.
It took a lot of vigor to climb up a counter only using a thread and needle. Though he managed to scale the medical counter. Though this is a lot of work for just cotton balls- the normal doctor wasnât around so it was a great chance he to get supplies while they were out.Â
Before he was able to touch the cotton jar- his shoulders jolted hearing the door open. With a quick dash he went behind the jar to hide. Holding his breath as he heard someone enter.Â
