Patches is really cute. I like the original design way more than what I came up with (and I have a ton of nitpicks about my choices but I ended up liking them), mainly my redesign choices were just style conversion choices, like Patches’ cowlick and hair (I like Patches’ original hair more, this is just easier for me to draw.)
I also Did Patches’ cartoony glasses the way I do them, I really like that trope and it was fun getting to work with a character that has those.
For clothing I chose to combine some aspects of the original medic with Patches’ design. the overcoat is ripped from Patches’ original design, but the way the collar is structured is inspired by the original Medic, the palette on the overcoat is from Medic Classic while the inner shirt is from an adjusted version of patches’ palette.
Oh man, I am extremely exhausted from stress and work but i wanted to atleast do something to celebrate the game that basically changed my life. It’s my favorite and it has driven me to do creative things,make many friends, introduced me to my girlfriend and of course made this ask blog a thing.

I love halloween due to horror stuff being the main theme, candy and costume making! Sadly this year I have to work during the witching hour of halloween so to make up for it I’m going to do a challenge I had made up for myself. It’s to basically draw a monster a day.

Now I gotta warn you guys that it might get a bit gorey during the challenge but I’ll make sure to tag any potentially triggering content.
